Biographie
Diane GRIMONET travaille de l'autre côté de la vie, témoin quotidien de cette détresse ordinaire qui fait détourner les yeux et parfois changer de trottoir.
Diane a choisi de montrer la souffrance de ceux qui n’ont pas de voix. Depuis 10 ans, elle travaille dans la rue, va dans les squats, explore les banlieues, les centres de rétention, avec les chômeurs, les sans papiers, les SDF, les Roms et les femmes en errance.
«On dit que ce sont des sujets qui ne sont pas visuels, dans lesquels il ne se passe rien. » Et pourtant elle montre ce que l’on ne veut pas voir, en partageant la vie de ceux qui n’en ont pas, sans jamais se cacher. « Je m’assois parmi eux et je ne dis rien. Alors ils me demandent qui je suis et comprennent que je suis venue essayer de leur rendre un peu de la dignité qu’ils ont perdue. Je capte les vies qui ont basculées, les naufrages intimes, les petits riens, très loin du spectaculaire. Je guette cette étincelle qui traverse un visage. »

Biography
Independent photographer, Diane Grimonet work on the other side of the life, daily witness of this common distress which makes divert eyes and sometimes change pavement.
Diane chose to show the suffering of those who have no voice. For 10 years, she works in streets, in squats, the suburbs of poverty, the detention centers, with the unemployed persons, ilegal immigrants, Romanian community and women in wandering, "
On subjects which are not visual, where nothing happened. " She shows what we do not want to see, by sharing the life of those who not have it any more, without ever hiding : « I sit down among them and say nothing . Then they ask me whom I am and understand that I came to try to return them the dignity which they lost. I get the lives which fell over, the intimate wrecks, far from the spectacular, which are going to cross a face.
